FAQ

Frequently asked questions

If you’re unsure about anything — from choosing a size to framing or delivery — this should help. If not, feel free to get in touch.

Choosing a print

How do I choose the right size?
It depends on the wall and the feeling you want the piece to create. Smaller sizes work well in intimate spaces — a hallway, a reading corner, a study. Larger sizes have more presence and are better suited to open walls where the photograph can breathe. If you're unsure, I'm happy to help — just get in touch with the dimensions of your space, and a photo of the wall you are planning to use.
Can I see how a print will look in my space before ordering?
Not just yet — though it's something I'm looking into. In the meantime, I'd encourage you to look at the collection page for each piece, where the photograph is shown at scale. If you have questions about how a specific image might work in a specific space, feel free to reach out.
Do you offer framed and unframed options?
Yes. All prints in my collections are available either as a print only or as a framed piece, ready to hang. Framing details — materials, profile, and finish — are listed on each photo page. The framing is chosen to complement the work, not compete with it. Archival pieces are only available unframed.
What if I'm choosing between two pieces?
Think about how each one makes you feel, rather than which one you think looks better. These photographs are made to live with — the one that quietly stays with you is likely the right choice. If it helps, I'm always happy to offer a second opinion.

Framing & materials

What paper are the prints made on?
All of the prints in my collections are produced on Fuji Fine Art Museum Rough paper at 300gsm, a heavyweight fine art paper with a soft matte finish and gentle texture, designed to reveal depth and nuance in every detail. Archive prints are produced on Fujicolor Professional DP II Lustre photographic paper, which offers a matt finsih for excellent color reproduction and durability. Full materials information is listed on each photo page.
What are the frames made from?
Frames are professionally produced using solid wood profiles, selected to complement the photograph rather than compete with it. The style and finish are chosen to suit the tones and mood of each piece, keeping the focus on the work itself. Framing is handled by a specialist lab to ensure consistency and quality across all pieces. Full framing details are shown on each photo page so you can see exactly what’s included.
How should I care for my print?
Keep framed prints away from direct sunlight and high humidity. For unframed prints, handle from the edges and store flat in a dry environment. If you need to clean the glazing on a framed piece, use a soft, dry cloth.
Will the colours I see on screen match the print?
Screen calibration varies, so there may be minor differences. That said, I work closely with the printer to ensure the final output is faithful to the original file. The prints are colour-proofed before any edition is released.

Ordering & delivery

How long does delivery take?
Prints are produced to order and typically dispatched within 5–10 working days. Framed pieces may take a little longer depending on availability. You'll receive a shipping notification once your order is on its way.
How are prints packaged?
Every order is packaged with care to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. Unframed prints are either delivered flat or rolled and shipped in a sturdy tube, depending on the size. Framed pieces are wrapped and boxed with protective corners.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. If you're based outside the UK, please get in touch before placing an order so I can advise on availability, delivery, and any additional considerations.
What if my print arrives damaged?
If your order arrives damaged, please contact me within 48 hours with photographs of the damage and the packaging. I'll arrange a replacement or refund as quickly as possible.

Editions & availability

What is a limited edition print?
Each photograph within the collections is released in a strictly limited edition — a fixed number of prints at each size. Once an edition is sold out, it will not be reprinted.
How do I know how many prints are left?
The remaining availability for each edition is shown on the product page. If a size shows as sold out, it is permanently closed.
Do prices increase as editions sell?
No. At this time, the print prices remain consistent throughout the edition. Buying earlier in an edition does not mean a lower price — but the knowledge that only a small number of others will own the same piece remains.
What comes with the print?
Each print is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, signed and numbered, confirming the edition details. This is included with every order. Please note that certificate will be sent separately from the print, as it is produced and signed after the order is placed.

General

Can I commission a bespoke piece?
Yes. If you're interested in commissioning a specific location, size, or format, please get in touch to discuss.
Do you offer trade or interior design pricing?
Yes. If you're an interior designer, architect, or purchasing for a commercial or hospitality project, get in touch directly to discuss trade pricing and larger-format options.
Can I return a print?
As each print is produced to order, returns are not accepted unless the piece arrives damaged or there is an error with your order. Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase — if you have any questions, I'm happy to help before you commit.
