Peak Flow was taken one evening as the sun dipped behind the mountains above Lake Garda. I was standing on a bridge on the outskirts of Torbole, watching how the river caught the last light before it disappeared into the lake. The gentle motion of the water drew my eye into the frame, leading toward the light-filled valley beyond.
There was a stillness in that moment — the kind that settles in as the day fades. The water moved quietly beneath me, its rhythm steady, guiding both sight and thought deeper into the landscape. It’s a scene that perfectly captures what I love about this area: the balance between movement and calm, where light, water, and mountain all meet in harmony.
This photograph has a special place for me. Every time I look at it, I’m reminded of that peaceful evening — the sense of flow, the warmth of the fading sun, and the connection between light and landscape that makes Lake Garda so captivating.
