STEWART READING-BROWN
The skeletal remains of the West Pier standing in calm long-exposure water at Brighton

Iron Will

West Pier, Brighton, East Sussex

The remains of Brighton's West Pier rise from the sea as little more than a frame now, stripped back by years of weather and time. What's left is the structure - raw, exposed, but still standing. With the long exposure softening the water and sky, everything else falls away. The focus shifts to the shape and the history behind it, holding onto what remains rather than what's been lost.
