Spring Amongst the Daffodils
Steyning, West Sussex
A line of trees curves through the frame, their trunks catching low sunlight that defines shape and spacing. The woodland floor is scattered with daffodils, their colour picking up the light and spreading it softly. The repetition of the trees carries the composition, while the light moves through in patches. The eye shifts naturally from one section to the next, following the rhythm rather than a fixed direction.
