Bodiam Castle stands surrounded by water, its reflection held clearly beneath it. Above, long arcs of star trails stretch across the sky, running from one side of the frame to the other. The branches above frame the scene, holding the space in, while the sky opens out beyond them. The castle stays centred and still, with the movement kept entirely above.
