A rough path follows the ridge line, leading toward a single tree set just off-centre. The ground is textured with chalk and worn grass, holding detail without breaking the flow. To the side, the land falls away into the South Downs, catching the last light across the landscape. The sky carries a soft mix of colour, holding the scene together without drawing away from the direction of the path.
