Aurora Dream
Cissbury Ring, Findon, West Sussex
A single tree stands on the ridge at Cissbury Ring, silhouetted against a sky alive with colour. The aurora spreads in layered bands of green, pink, and deep violet, shifting and blending as it stretches across the night. Below, the South Downs fall away into darkness, broken only by distant clusters of warm light from the villages beyond. A faint path leads toward the tree, grounding the scene and pulling you into it. It’s a rare moment where something usually distant and unreachable feels close — colour moving above a landscape that remains still beneath it.
