A Sunrise Over St. Hubert’s Chapel

I don’t know it is about St. Hubert’s Chapel but it feels like a place suspended in time. When I arrived just before sunrise I had high hopes of a gorgeous sunrise. There had been plenty of planning, checking the forecast and cloud coverage. It’s never a guarantee that things will go your way but I hoping the light would break through the clouds and deliver a spectacle. Needless to say I wasn’t disappointed and the sun combined with the clouds cast this soft, golden glow across the landscape. There had been plenty of rain and the field was still saturated, adding a added shimmer on the grass that brought the whole scene to life.

The sky was doing all kinds of things – moody but warm, textured but soft. Everything lined up perfectly in that moment: the light, the atmosphere, the stillness. It’s one of those places that doesn’t need much – just a little patience and the right conditions – and suddenly it tells a whole story on its own.

This photo brings that quiet countryside magic into your home. The sunrise gives the chapel and the field such a warm, peaceful vibe, and the rain-soaked grass adds just the right touch of texture and depth. It’s perfect if you love old buildings, big skies, and those rare moments where everything just comes together without trying too hard.

Cropping

Please note that some cropping may occur depending on the size you choose for your photo. This is because different sizes have different aspect ratios, which affect how the photo fits on the paper, canvas or glass. I will try to preserve as much of the original photo as possible, but some edges may be cut off to avoid distortion or blank spaces, or to accomodate the chosen size.
