Hanari

The Heart of the Cherry

There’s something about cherry blossoms that makes you pause. I was tucked under the tree, beneath the branches on a warm spring evening when I spotted this cluster of petals catching the light—just enough breeze to stir the leaves, just enough stillness to hold the moment in place. Everything else faded into softness, but this little bloom stood out with quiet grace.

The name came easily. Hanari—a combination of hana (flower) and ri, a flowing, delicate ending. It carries that feeling of something light and refined, something drifting apart gently, not with sadness but with elegance. That’s what this felt like. One soft, glowing bloom, standing apart just enough to be noticed.

It’s a simple image, really—but to me, it captures the kind of beauty you don’t need to chase. You just need to notice it.

Why Choose This Print?

Hanari is all about grace in stillness. A soft-focus frame of pastel petals and glowing spring leaves surrounds one gently lit blossom, perfectly placed in the warm morning light. The name—rooted in the Japanese words hana (flower) and ri (a flowing, airy ending)—evokes a sense of elegance and peaceful separation. Ideal for calm spaces, spring lovers, and anyone drawn to the quiet poetry of nature.

Important Information

Cropping

Please note that some cropping may occur depending on the size you choose for your photo. This is because different sizes have different aspect ratios, which affect how the photo fits on the paper, canvas or glass. I will try to preserve as much of the original photo as possible, but some edges may be cut off to avoid distortion or blank spaces, or to accommodate the chosen size.

Colour Reproduction

Also, please be aware that colours may vary from what you see on your screen to what you receive in print. This is because different screens have different settings and calibrations, which affect how colours are displayed. Additionally, printing techniques and materials may also cause some slight differences in colour reproduction and saturation. The labs I print with use high-quality printers and papers to ensure that the photo looks as close to the original as possible, but some minor variations are inevitable and normal. If you have any questions or concerns about the colours of your photo, please contact me before you place your order.

Returns and Refunds

Due to the nature of my products, I do not offer refunds or returns after the sale. However, I understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. If your order arrives damaged in transit, please contact me immediately with a photo of the damaged item. I will replace the damaged item at no additional cost to you. Please note: I cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.

I hope you enjoy your photo and thank you for choosing SRB Photos.
