This image means a lot to me. It’s the first time I’ve ever captured a full Milky Way arch — and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to do it than Cuckmere. There’s something about this spot that just feels like home when I’m behind the camera
This was a late March night, and it took a bit of work to get it right — stitching the sky, balancing the foreground. I didn’t even realise how good it was going to be until I saw the test shots on the back of the camera. Then it all clicked — this was the one. From the classic white cottages to the Seven Sisters cliffs and that perfect arch above… it all just came together like a puzzle I didn’t even know I was solving.
